After seeing how seamless kitchen operations could be as well as the simplicity of the brand\u2019s menu, which focuses on German-style D\u00f6ner kebabs, he felt the venture was the perfect next step for him as well as a great addition to Greenpoint Ave.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI pass by [this area] a lot going from the city to Forest Hills, so this is a location that I always wanted to open something up in,\u201d said Bola\u00f1os. \u201cThe menu is very compact and straightforward, so I like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-599075\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Doner-Haus-Halal-Chicken-Doner-Sandwich4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\"  \/>Photo credit: D\u00f6ner Haus<\/p>\n<p>D\u00f6ner Haus is known for its compact menu emphasizing fresh quality and attention to each ingredient, including menu items like the signature D\u00f6ner Sandwich piled high with beef, chicken, or both if customers like, accompanied by lettuce, tomatoes, onions, red cabbage and creamy garlic sauce in a custom-made crispy toasted Turkish pide bread pocket. The menu also includes the D\u00f6ner Wrap, prepared in a soft flour tortilla, generous portions of meat, veggies, and sauce, and the D\u00f6ner Box, which offers a gluten-free option of meat over salad and fries or rice drizzled with sauce. For those looking for a hot and fresh snack or side, the Haus Fries are tossed in a blend of secret German spices, and for dessert, they offer a Turkish Baklava to complete the hearty meal.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday\u2019s opening event marks the brand\u2019s fifth location, following its introduction to the East Village in 2023, followed by Astoria in 2024, Bayside and Hell\u2019s Kitchen in 2025. Now, D\u00f6ner Haus is starting the new year with yet another location and the same delicious food they\u2019re known for, open seven days a week with late nights.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s pretty cool to see how the brand is growing, and how people are enjoying the food, and even though this is a fast-food place, it\u2019s a healthy choice,\u201d said Navarro. The meat doesn\u2019t have any fillers, our bread is great, we use fresh vegetables, and our sauce is made in-house, so everything is really high quality.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>D\u00f6ner Haus\u2019 new Sunnyside location will open Thursday, Feb. 5, with $1 D\u00f6ner Sandwiches from 6 to 9 p.m. The restaurant\u2019s full hours and menu will be available beginning Friday, Feb. 6, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week.
