Bronx, NY Rep. Ritchie Torres, Wells Fargo chairman and CEO Charlie Scharf, Douglaston Development and community partners gathered at 2850 Webster Ave. to celebrate Wells Fargo\u2019s donation in the form of $100 grocery gift cards to every resident household, supporting both seniors and longtime neighborhood grocer Cherry Valley Marketplace.<\/p>\n

\"\"The event highlighted the success of Phase I of 2850 Webster Ave., the 100% affordable senior housing development by Wells Fargo, Douglaston Development and the New York Botanical Garden, which is now home to 187 low-income senior households. Leaders from Wells Fargo, NYBG, Fordham-Bedford Community Services and local elected officials spoke on the project\u2019s impact, followed by resident reflections and a VIP tour of the completed building and forthcoming Phase II.<\/p>\n
