The Pilates-inspired boutique fitness brand will anchor the new 200E20TH building that\u2019s opening in one of New York City\u2019s top neighborhoods <\/p>\n

Boutique fitness giant Solidcore is carving out a new lane, becoming the kind of real estate add-on luxury developers use to entice residents.<\/p>\n

The L Catterton-backed brand<\/a>\u00a0is opening a new flagship studio in Gramercy Park at the base of 200E20TH, a new\u00a0condominium<\/a>\u00a0designed by architecture and design firm\u00a0CetraRuddy that includes the Sky Garden\u00a0Penthouse<\/a>, listed for $7.35 million.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt 200E20TH, we\u2019ve created a boutique residential experience defined by masterful design, inspiring living spaces and curated amenities that elevate the everyday experience,\u201d head of development Yoel Shargian said. \u201cAdding Solidcore to our ground floor is the perfect final piece, expanding our lifestyle offering for residents and to the street level.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 2,629-square-foot studio\u00a0is slated\u00a0to open in early spring.<\/p>\n

\u201cGramercy is a dynamic, close-knit neighborhood, and this location gives us the opportunity to create a welcoming space that supports community and consistency,\u201d Solidcore senior director of real estate and growth Josh Rainey added. \u201cThe studio is designed to meet members at every fitness level and bring our training closer to the people we serve.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not the first time\u00a0Solidcore\u00a0has taken its elevated, Pilates-inspired model to luxury residential spaces. <\/p>\n

In 2024, the brand became the first retail tenant to sign a lease at\u00a0The Novus, a luxury residential tower in\u00a0Durham, North Carolina<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Solidcore\u00a0also has a presence at\u00a0Avec on H Street, an upscale residential building in\u00a0Washington, as well as in Los Angeles at\u00a0The Residences at West Edge. The brand recently joined\u00a0One Riverside, a mixed-use project near a luxury apartment community in\u00a0Jacksonville, Florida. <\/p>\n

Others are taking a similar approach. Pilates brand Btone Fitness recently opened its\u00a030th studio<\/a>\u00a0in Somerville, Massachusetts, at the new Guild apartments.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Pilates franchise JetSet Pilates has been\u00a0outspoken about its growth strategy<\/a>, finding a home inside some of the most design-forward developments, such as\u00a0Miami\u2019s\u00a0Mr. C Residences, a waterfront property in Coconut Grove<\/a>,\u00a0Nashville\u2019s revitalized Moore Building and\u00a0D.C.\u2019s\u00a0Union Market.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0not just fitness.
