Neighbors of Nancy Guthrie reported spotting a suspicious white van parked on their street in the days before the 84-year-old vanished.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Guthrie\u2019s neighbor Brett McIntire told The Post on Thursday that he reported the unmarked van to the police, who asked him basic questions about what he observed in the days leading up to the disappearance<\/a> of Savannah Guthrie\u2019s 84-year-old mother.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was somewhere on that street. It was a white van, full-sized, with no printing on the sides. It was parked on the street,\u201d said McIntire, who lives across from Nancy.<\/p>\n

\u201cNormally people that are coming to work on your home will have a company vehicle or if they\u2019re independent, something written on it,\u201d the 72-year-old added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom now on when I\u2019m going out and about, I\u2019ll have a paper and pen and record anything unusual.\u201d<\/p>\n

His wife, Lisa McIntire, said they are now considering getting security cameras despite having a \u201cpretty secure residence.\u201d <\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the latest on Savannah Guthrie\u2019s missing mom<\/p>\n

\u201cBrett and I were talking. And we thought well, we should probably get one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a pretty secure residence. Metal doors. I\u2019m kind of a deep sleeper, so it\u2019s unlikely someone could get past one of the metal doors. But we\u2019re a little concerned.\u201d <\/p>\n

The McIntires couldn\u2019t recall the exact day they spotted the van.<\/p>\n

The Post reached out to the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department.<\/p>\n

Guthrie was reported missing on Sunday, and the investigation was declared a criminal probe on Monday.<\/p>\n

Police said at a press conference Thursday afternoon that they believed Nancy was \u201cstill out there\u201d and hoped to get her home as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

A ransom note sent to local and national news outlets did not include any proof of life or a way for law enforcement or her family to communicate with the sender.<\/p>\n

Savannah and her two siblings issue a video statement on Wednesday, pleading with their mom\u2019s possible abductor for her safe return.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to know, without a doubt, that she is alive, and that you have her. We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen. Please, reach out to us,\u201d Savannah said in an appeal.<\/p>\n
