Prince Harry<\/a> isn’t known for being a foodie in the same way as some of the other members of the British royal family<\/a>, but that doesn’t mean he can’t enjoy good food when it’s put in front of him!<\/p>\n

In a new clip shared by the Duchess of Sussex<\/a> to her Instagram stories on Thursday, 5 February, she offered him a selection of chocolate from her lifestyle and food brand, As Ever, allowing him to choose one bar.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 41-year-old chose his wife’s white chocolate and flower sprinkles bar from her new limited-edition collection, with the others including two different dark chocolate and berry flavours, and a third with milk chocolate, shortbread and bee pollen.<\/p>\n

White chocolate is a bit of a divisive pick, with some people finding it irresistible and others thinking it’s sickly sweet. One person in his family shares his love of chocolate, but can’t quite stomach his chocolate of choice as easily\u2026<\/p>\n

Queen Elizabeth II was also a ‘chocoholic’<\/p>\n

In an exclusive interview with HELLO!, former royal chef Darren McGrady<\/a> revealed to us that the late Queen was “absolutely a chocoholic”. He added: “Anything we put on the menu that had chocolate on, she would choose, especially chocolate perfection pie.”<\/p>\n

However, it’s also known for sure that dark chocolate was her favourite: a little bitter, rich and unbelievably indulgent. As a result, she didn’t always love white chocolate and seemed to only have it once a year.<\/p>\n

Darren wrote about the Queen’s diet in his 2007 cookbook, Eating Royally: Recipes and Remembrances from a Palace Kitchen, where he explained how the mother of King Charles would give up chocolate for Lent, but indulge in a feast of chocolates on Easter Sunday.<\/p>\n

“The chefs would go to great lengths to prepare all sorts of chocolate treats to make up for the forty-day abstinence,” McGrady wrote. “There were chocolate cakes plus milk chocolate, white chocolate, and bittersweet chocolate eggs.”<\/p>\n
