Deaver, 84, died Jan. 20 in Accord, New York. Born Jan. 7, 1942, on Staten Island, he was raised at Mount Loretto. Mr. Deaver built a distinguished career as an elite machinist on Staten Island before relocating to upstate New York, where he continued his work until retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved his pets.
