NEW YORK \u2014 Fans of Harry Styles are pulling out all the stops \u2014 and even some blood \u2014 in an effort to afford tickets for his upcoming world tour.<\/p>\n
The Grammy winner\u2019s Together, Together Tour is playing just 67 dates in 11 cities, with 30 at Madison Square Garden as part of what\u2019s sure to be another record-breaking run.<\/p>\n
Styles previously made history at MSG with his Love on Tour residency in 2022<\/a>, playing 15 consecutive sold-out nights.<\/p>\n Tickets for the latest New York City shows \u2014 the only confirmed U.S. dates \u2014 went on sale last week and they\u2019re hard to obtain. According to Rolling Stone, more than 11 million people queued up<\/a> for 500,000 tickets.<\/p>\n From Aug. 26 to Oct. 31, Styles will play the world\u2019s famous arena, with special guest Jamie xx.<\/a><\/p>\n With a limited number of tickets and exorbitant prices of more than $1,000 a piece, die-hard fans are resorting to desperate measures to get cash. Some are even selling their plasma.<\/p>\n Florida-based illustration student Daniella Barone told Rolling Stone that she was trading her blood at a plasma center to get money to pay for the cost of tickets, travel and accommodations to see the former One Direction<\/a> frontman.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been listening to One Direction since I was 11, and I\u2019m 24 now,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019ve always loved Harry\u2019s music, but I also love the fandom. It\u2019s like a little family. That\u2019s always something that has really appealed to me; having that community.\u201d<\/p>\n Another fan, Ava Engle, said she\u2019s been selling her plasma despite being terrified of needles. Hauling in $90 per donation, the 18-year-old San Diego State University<\/a> student also took on tutoring and a part-time gig during school breaks to try to pony up enough paper for the tickets.<\/p>\n \u201cBeing in the chair, I was having second thoughts. Like, \u2018What am I doing?\u2019\u201d she told Rolling Stone. \u201cI just want to see one of my favorite artists. We shouldn\u2019t have to be doing all of this just to afford tickets for one night.\u201d<\/p>\n Demand is sky-high to see Styles, whose fourth studio album, \u201cKiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally,<\/a>\u201d is set to be released on March 6. The album marks his first since 2022\u2019s Grammy-winning \u201cHarry\u2019s House.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAperture<\/a>,\u201d the first single to yield from the new set, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> this week.
