{"id":127180,"date":"2026-02-09T00:31:26","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T00:31:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/127180\/"},"modified":"2026-02-09T00:31:26","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T00:31:26","slug":"nypd-charges-staten-island-man-in-connection-to-two-loaded-firearms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/127180\/","title":{"rendered":"NYPD charges Staten Island man in connection to two loaded firearms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"GNJAAPB6LVDA3DBWHQPHSCZDA4\">STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 A 34-year-old Annadale man was arrested and faces weapons charges, after officers from the 123rd Precinct allege they recovered two loaded firearms during an investigation, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"OHOBILV73FEWTKVD7C23A6XP2A\">According to the NYPD\u2019s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, Justin Ferguson, of the 600 block of Annadale Road, was taken into custody on Feb. 2 at about 6:13 p.m. on the 500 block of Drumgoole Road. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"Y7M32QZVENCQXNTOH2OH3Z6VGI\">The arrest stemmed from an ongoing investigation, police said to the Advance\/SILive.com.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"JODX64CPSRCOPNOW2LYDHTJ2LE\">In a post on the 123rd Precinct\u2019s X account, the command credited Sgt. DeConcilio and Police Officers Khaimov and Hajiyeva for removing the weapons and the individual carrying them from the community. \u201cNo day on patrol is routine,\u201d the precinct wrote.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">No day on patrol is routine, Sergeant DeConcilio along with Police Officers Khaimov and Hajiyeva removed these two loaded firearms as well as the individual carrying them from our streets <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/SIX39WmHe4\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/SIX39WmHe4<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 NYPD 123rd Precinct (@NYPD123Pct) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NYPD123Pct\/status\/2019474288890245248?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">February 5, 2026<\/a> <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"Q57IBLNMYRDMJMEYZ6AFEC7HVY\">Ferguson faces criminal possession of a weapon in the second, third and fourth degrees, along with multiple counts of criminal possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition, according to court records.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"3R2PQBAH35FB3JXWUVYOLW4PIE\">Court records show Ferguson was arraigned and pleaded not guilty. Bail was set at $15,000 cash, $45,000 insured bond, or a $45,000 partially secured surety bond, and was posted on Feb. 3. His next appearance is scheduled for April 14 in Richmond Criminal Court in St. George.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"EIKPHTNKKZHD5FBGAA5GP36GME\">Ferguson is represented by attorney Louis M.
