Marc Anthony<\/a> has broken his silence after finding himself dragged into the Beckham family fallout. Last month, Brooklyn Beckham<\/a> made headlines after releasing a bombshell statement<\/a> in which he accused his parents, David<\/a> and Victoria Beckham<\/a>, of controlling narratives in the press and trying to “ruin” his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old former photographer also claimed that his mother Victoria “danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone” at his 2022 wedding to Nicola, after Marc called him to the stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Later in January, DJ Fat Tony, who attended the nuptials, gave his account<\/a> during an interview on ITV’s\u00a0This Morning. The DJ revealed that singer and actor, Marc Anthony, told Brooklyn to put his hands on his mother’s hips after calling Victoria to join her son on the stage.<\/p>\n

“Marc then asks the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage, and it’s Victoria,” he revealed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Of course, at that point, Brooklyn is devastated,” continued the DJ. “Nicola leaves the room, crying her eyes out.<\/p>\n

2022<\/p>\n

April 9th –\u00a0Brooklyn Beckham marries Nicola Peltz. Reports emerge of a dispute, as Nicola chose not to wear a dress designed by Victoria Beckham. However, in an interview with Grazia USA, Nicola said this was because Victoria’s ”alterier” couldn’t make the dress, not due to a feud.\u00a0<\/p>\n

June –\u00a0 During their honeymoon, Brooklyn and Nicola do not meet up with the Beckhams, despite being on holiday nearby at the same time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

August –\u00a0Nicola appears on the cover of Tatler, where she discusses the pressure Brooklyn feels around his career, and reveals that he often seeks advice from her billionaire father.\u00a0<\/p>\n

October –\u00a0 In an interview with the Sunday Times, when Nicola was questioned about the alleged feud with Victoria she said: \u201cNo family is perfect.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

2024<\/p>\n

December – Romeo Beckham and his girlfriend, Kim Turbull, go public, and she begins spending time with the Beckham family. However, Brooklyn and Nicola are notably absent from any photos with Kim, who reportedly dated Brooklyn in the past, in the following months. \u00a0<\/p>\n

2025\u00a0<\/p>\n

March 30th –\u00a0Brooklyn didn’t attend his dad’s early birthday party in Miami, which was organised by Victoria<\/p>\n

April –\u00a0 Romeo shuts down speculation that Kim was Brooklyn\u2019s ex-girlfriend in a now-deleted Instagram comment: \u201cBrooklyn and Kim never dated.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

9th –\u00a0 The Beckham family do not publicly acknowledge Brooklyn and Nicola\u2019s third wedding anniversary.\u00a0<\/p>\n

17th –\u00a0 Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz miss Victoria Beckham\u2019s 51st birthday party. Brooklyn does not post any birthday tribute to his mother on social media.\u00a0<\/p>\n

25th –\u00a0 Brooklyn posts an Instagram story of himself and Nicola, appearing to take a dig at his parents, with the caption: \u201cI always choose you.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

December 21 –\u00a0Cruz Beckham posts a screenshot to his Instagram story of a Daily Mail article claiming his parents unfollowed Brooklyn. He captions the story: ”NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son…Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked\u2026 as did I.”<\/p>\n

January 19 – Brooklyn has broken his silence on the family feud rumours with a lengthy Instagram story. He shared his version of events with his 16 million followers and stated that he has no desire to reconcile with his parents.<\/p>\n

Marc Anthony breaks his silence<\/p>\n

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, Marc said that the Beckham’s are a “wonderful, wonderful family” and said the situation was “extremely unfortunate”.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I have nothing to say about what’s happening with the family,” said the 57-year-old. “They’re a wonderful, wonderful family. I’ve known them since before the kids were born. I’m godfather to Cruz. I’m really close to the family. But I have nothing to say about what happened there.” \u00a0<\/p>\n

He added: “It’s extremely unfortunate how it’s playing out \u2014 but [how it’s playing out] is hardly the truth.”<\/p>\n

Brooklyn’s statement<\/p>\n

In January, Brooklyn took to his Instagram Stories with a series of claims about his parents, saying that he did not want to “reconcile” with his family in the statement.<\/p>\n

“I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private,” he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
