American singer Marc Anthony has spoken out for the first time after finding himself at the centre of headlines surrounding<\/a> the current Beckham family drama.<\/p>\n Following months of rumours about a supposed family feud, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham shared a statement on social media last month in which he confirmed he was no longer on speaking terms<\/a> with his famous parents, Sir David and Victoria Beckham, and had no plans to reconcile.<\/p>\n In addition to accusing his mother and father of \u201ccontrolling\u201d and \u201cperformative\u201d behaviour his whole life, Brooklyn also spoke about an alleged incident that took place at his wedding to Nicola Peltz Beckham in 2022.<\/p>\n According to Brooklyn, his famous mum \u201chijacked\u201d his first dance<\/a>, after being introduced to the stage by family friend Marc Anthony, one of the reception\u2019s performers.<\/p>\n It had been previously been reported that Marc introduced Victoria as \u201cthe most beautiful woman in the room tonight\u201d<\/a>, which was subsequently corroborated by the DJ \u201cFat Tony\u201d<\/a>, who also performed that evening.<\/p>\n Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> as part of an interview published on Monday, the four-time Grammy winner insisted he had \u201cnothing to say about what\u2019s happening\u201d within the Beckham family.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re a wonderful, wonderful family,\u201d he continued. \u201cI\u2019ve known them since before the kids were born. I\u2019m godfather to Cruz. I\u2019m really close to the family.\u201d<\/p>\n He added: \u201cI have nothing to say about what happened there.
