FDNY says that a person was struck by a vehicle and taken to Jacobi Hospital for treatment on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n
When News 12 crews arrived at the scene, they saw a baby girl and her father speaking with police.<\/p>\n
The baby’s stroller was left in the crosswalk and was missing a wheel.<\/p>\n
The driver of the city-owned vehicle that struck the baby and her stroller remained at the scene.<\/p>\n
The vehicle appears to be owned by the NYC Parks Department. The department has not yet responded to a request for further information. <\/p>\n
