STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 Hundreds of members of Congress can view the unredacted Epstein files at the Department of Justice \u2014 but only four special computers are available. <\/p>\n

Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin confirmed that congressional members \u201cmust enter without bringing any electronic devices, or staff members who have been researching the issue alongside them,\u201d according to the Guardian<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Raskin was only able to see roughly 30 to 40 unredacted documents in the time he had access to one of the special computers. <\/p>\n

His conclusion was this: \u201c\u2026I was able to determine, at least I believe, that there were tons of completely unnecessary redactions, in addition to the failure to redact the names of victims, and so that was troubling to us\u2026 I saw the names of lots of people, who were redacted for mysterious or baffling or inscrutable reasons.\u201d<\/p>\n

The congressman added that another three million files still need to be published by the DOJ \u2014 meaning that a little more than half of the files have been released altogether thus far. <\/p>\n

The DOJ was supposed to release the Epstein files in their entirety on Dec. 19, 2025, at the order of the Epstein Files Transparency Act. <\/p>\n

The latest drop came out Jan. 30, 2026. The DOJ claimed that that release was the final cohort of documents. <\/p>\n
