The NYPD is investigating a shooting that took place at a Bronx subway station.<\/p>\n

Bullets flew on the platform of a Bronx<\/a> subway station on Tuesday afternoon, leaving a young man fighting for his life, police sources reported.\n<\/p>\n

The shooting happened at the 170th Street station on the B and D lines in Highbridge at about 2:55 p.m. on Feb. 10.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

Sources close to the investigation said the victim, an adult male believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, was shot multiple times during a confrontation on the platform.\n<\/p>\n

EMS rushed him to Lincoln Hospital in very critical condition.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

The MTA<\/a> reported that trains are skipping the 170 Street station in both directions while the investigation unfolds.\n<\/p>\n
