GRAND CONCOURSE, The Bronx (WABC) — A man has died after being shot at a subway platform in the Bronx on Tuesday, according to police.<\/p>\n
The shooting happened just before 3 p.m. at the 170th Street southbound subway station platform in the Grand Concourse section.<\/p>\n
NYPD officials say first responding officers found a 41-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.<\/p>\n
The victim was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals\/Lincoln in critical condition, and later died from his injuries.<\/p>\n
Officials say the victim was known by police to hang around the subway system.<\/p>\n
They say the shooting appeared to stem from a dispute.<\/p>\n
Officials say a suspect fled out of the station, wearing a blue jacket with a cream hoodie.<\/p>\n
No arrests have been made.<\/p>\n
Officials say this is the first homicide in the subway system this year.<\/p>\n
B and D trains are bypassing 170 Street in both directions while the NYPD conducts an investigation at the station.<\/p>\n
