(WBNG) \u2014 A Norwich man was arrested on Wednesday on numerous charges following a reported domestic incident in the Town of Plymouth, according to information from the New York State Police. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Mark A. Lunsford, 30, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 8, on the following charges: <\/p>\n<p>Attempted assault in the second degree, a class E felony. Criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Lunsford\u2019s arrest stems from a reported domestic incident just after 1 p.m. on Sunday when troopers were sent to a home on county Road 19 in Plymouth. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">An investigation revealed that Lunsford punched the victim and then hit them in the head with a glass liquor bottle, causing it to break. The fight was broken up by another person, and Lunsford fled the scene, troopers said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Lunsford was found at a residence in Norwich and was arrested on the above charges. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Lunsford was processed at the trooper barracks before he was taken to the Chenango County Jail, troopers said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 WBNG.
