Below, you\u2019ll find a quick guide \u2014 based on information from the MTA \u2014 to the biggest planned service changes on the city\u2019s subways and rails.<\/p>\n<p>For more details and alternate routes, see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mta.info\/article\/mta-weekender-october-10-13-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">MTA\u2019s weekend guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Subway service changes<br \/>\n3 trains in Manhattan<\/p>\n<p>Between 11:45 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Sunday, 3 trains aren&#8217;t running between Harlem-148th Street and 96th Street in either direction due to station maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>3 trains will be running between New Lots Avenue and 96 Street, and on the 1 line to and from 137th Street-City College. However, no 3 trains are running overnight.<\/p>\n<p>Riders can take free shuttle buses for service to and from Harlem-148th Street and 145th Street.<\/p>\n<p>Riders can take the 2 train for service between 135th Street and 96th Street.<\/p>\n<p>A, C and E trains in Manhattan<\/p>\n<p>Between 11:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, A trains won&#8217;t run between\u00a0Inwood-207th Street and 168th Street, and C trains won&#8217;t run between\u00a0168th Street and 145th Street because of track replacement. Local A trains will provide service between\u00a0168th Street and 145th Street from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.<\/p>\n<p>A trains will be running between 168th Street and Ozone Park-Lefferts Boulevard or Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue. C trains will run between 145th Street and Euclid Avenue, stopping at the lower level D train platform at 145th Street.<\/p>\n<p>Riders can use nearby 1 train stops or take free shuttle buses for service between Inwood-207th Street and 168 Street. Buses will run along Broadway between Inwood-207th Street and 168th Street, and on Fort Washington Avenue between 190th Street and 168th Street, according to the MTA.<\/p>\n<p>From 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, meanwhile, downtown C and A local trains are running express from 59th Street-Columbus Circle to Canal Street due to signal modernization.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, downtown E trains are running on the F line after Fifth Avenue\/53rd Street to Second Avenue, and uptown E trains are running on the F line from Second Avenue to West Fourth Street-Washington Square.<\/p>\n<p>Riders can take the D train for service to and from Seventh Avenue. To access all other regular E service stops, the MTA advises riders to take an A or C local train.<\/p>\n<p>F trains in Brooklyn<\/p>\n<p>Between 12:15 a.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Monday, F trains won&#8217;t run between Church Avenue and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue in either direction due to accessibility work.<\/p>\n<p>Riders can take a free B90 shuttle bus to get to F train stops between the two stations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For direct service between Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn and Coney Island, riders can take a D, N or Q train.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Riders can take the Q train for service to West Eighth Street-New York Aquarium.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>F trains will be running between Jamaica-179th Street and Church Avenue.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>G trains in Brooklyn and Queens<\/p>\n<p>From 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, G trains aren&#8217;t running between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues in either direction due to signal modernization.<\/p>\n<p>Riders can take free\u00a0B98\u00a0shuttle buses for service between those stops. When exiting the subway at Court Square, Lorimer Street (Metropolitan Avenue) or Bedford-Nostrand Avenues, get a GO Ticket from a station agent for reentry.<\/p>\n<p>G trains will be running between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Church Avenue every 10 minutes during the day and evening.<\/p>\n<p>L trains in Brooklyn<\/p>\n<p>From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, L trains aren&#8217;t running between Broadway Junction and Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway in either direction because of track replacement.<\/p>\n<p>Riders can take free T426 shuttle buses for service between those stops, which are running both local and nonstop routes.<\/p>\n<p>Riders exiting the subway at Broadway Junction or Junius Street (Livonia Avenue) can get a GO Ticket from a station agent to reenter.<\/p>\n<p>L trains will run between Eighth Avenue and Broadway Junction every eight minutes or so during the day and evening and 12 minutes overnight.<\/p>\n<p>2, 3 and 4 trains in Brooklyn<\/p>\n<p>Between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, Manhattan-bound 2 and 3 trains and 4 local trains will run nonstop from Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center due to track replacement.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Riders can take a Flatbush Avenue-bound 2 train or a New Lots Avenue-bound 3 or 4 train for service to and from bypassed stops.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During the day and evening, 2 trains will run every 10 minutes and 3 trains will run every 12 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>2 and 5 trains in the Bronx<\/p>\n<p>Manhattan-bound 2 and 5 trains will run nonstop from East 180th Street to Third Avenue-149th Street over the weekend due to structural maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>Riders can take a Wakefield-bound 2 or Eastchester-bound 5 train for service to and from bypassed stations.<\/p>\n<p>4 and 6 trains in Manhattan<\/p>\n<p>From 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, uptown 4 and 6 local trains will run express from Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall to 125th Street due to structural and track maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>Riders can take a\u00a0downtown local train for service to and from bypassed stations.<\/p>\n<p>6 trains will be running between Pelham Bay Park and Bowling Green every eight minutes during the day and evening.<\/p>\n<p>6 trains in the Bronx<\/p>\n<p>Between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday, Manhattan-bound 6 trains will run from Hunts Point Avenue to Third Avenue-138th Street due to structural maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>Riders can take a Pelham Bay Park-bound train for service to and from bypassed stations. Trains will be boarding from the Pelham Bay Park-bound platform\u00a0at Third Avenue-138th Street.<\/p>\n<p>J trains in Brooklyn<\/p>\n<p>Between 3:45 a.m. Saturday and 10 p.m. Sunday, Manhattan-bound J trains will run nonstop from Myrtle Avenue to Broadway Junction due to structural maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>Riders can take a Jamaica Center-bound train for service to and from bypassed stops.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"At long last, it\u2019s the weekend!
