MoMA PS1<\/a> announces the 53 artists and collectives participating in\u00a0Greater New York 2026, the sixth edition of the museum\u2019s signature survey of artists living and working in the New York City area. Opening on April 16, 2026, this iteration includes site-specific installations, new productions, and recent works, most of which have never before been exhibited. The exhibition also includes a performance program premiering works by eight artists over three dates in May and June. In celebration of the museum\u2019s 50th anniversary, the quinquennial exhibition is organized for the first time by the full MoMA PS1 curatorial team. Forefronting the perspectives of early and mid-career artists,\u00a0Greater New York 2026\u00a0emphasizes the forces that shape daily life in the city today, as well as strategies of resistance and adaptation in the face of increased surveillance, economic precarity, and shifting technologies.\u00a0<\/p>\nGreater New York 2026\u00a0is organized by the MoMA PS1 curatorial team: Jody Graf and Elena Ketelsen Gonz\u00e1lez, Associate Curators; Kari Rittenbach, Assistant Curator; Sheldon Gooch, Curatorial Assistant; and Andrea S\u00e1nchez, Curatorial Coordinator; led by Connie Butler, Agnes Gund Director, and Ruba Katrib, Chief Curator and Director of Curatorial Affairs.<\/p>\n
