Cruz Beckham has unexpectedly turned to Instagram to share old family photos, a few weeks after his brother, Brooklyn<\/a>, went public with a bombshell statement about the estranged relationship<\/a> between his parents and himself.<\/p>\n

Last month, 26-year-old Brooklyn declared that he has no wish to reconcile with the family \u2014 including his parents, David and Victoria Beckham \u2014 and said that he is \u201cstanding up\u201d for himself \u201cfor the first time\u201d in his life<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cruz, 20, hasn\u2019t publicly acknowledged his brother\u2019s statement. However, in a caption-less Instagram post on Wednesday, he shared a series of throwback photos. The carousel began with a black and white image of a young Brooklyn, hugging his two younger brothers, Cruz and Romeo.<\/p>\n

One of the likes on the post came from Victoria, who commented with a series of heart emojis.<\/p>\n

The post comes weeks after Brooklyn posted a lengthy statement on social media, claiming that his parents had tried \u201cendlessly to ruin\u201d his relationship with his wife, the billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz Beckham.<\/p>\n

He also accused his mother of canceling the making of his wife\u2019s wedding dress \u201cin the eleventh hour\u201d and of hijacking their first dance together.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead,\u201d Brooklyn wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I\u2019ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.\u201d<\/p>\n

DJ Fat Tony, who was at the wedding, has agreed with Brooklyn\u2019s claim that Victoria\u2019s behavior was \u201cinappropriate,\u201d solely due to \u201cthe timing.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said that singer Mark Anthony called Victoria to the stage in place of Peltz and called the former Spice Girl \u201cthe most beautiful woman in the room,\u201d which \u201cdevastated\u201d Brooklyn and sent the bride out of the room in tears.<\/p>\n

In his first public response to his son\u2019s statement<\/a>, David Beckham told CNBC\u2019s Squawk Box that \u201cyou have to let your children make mistakes\u201d while speaking about the power of social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn,\u201d David said. \u201cThat is what I try to teach my kids, you sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Opinions have been split on the family drama, with several commentators speaking out to back the parents.
