A 16-year-old boy was killed and two other teens were shot and wounded when gunfire rang out in the Bronx Wednesday night during a massive street fight, cops and witnesses said. <\/p>\n
Cops rushed to the busy intersection of Broadway and West 238th Street in Kingsbridge around 5:10 p.m., where they found the 16-year-old shot in the back and two other teens \u2014 a 15-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl \u2014 both suffering from gunshot wounds to the right leg, police said.<\/p>\n
All three were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where the older victim was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s unclear what sparked the shooting, a shaken longtime resident said she heard five gunshots erupt during a brawl that sent \u201chundreds\u201d of teens scrambling from the scene.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was scary, it was horrible because I live right here and I can imagine if there\u2019s gunshots it would go through the window here and it scared me,\u201d Regina Hall told The Post, adding how she ran away from her living room window when gunfire broke out.<\/p>\n

Hall noted that teens often flood the streets and cause mayhem when they get out of school \u2014 urging cops to increase their presence in the neighborhood to deter any fights or shootings from breaking out.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m shocked, but I knew this was going to happen because groups of kids get carried away and they fight, and who is going to stop them,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
