NEW YORK (WABC) — Amtrak service is suspended between New York Penn Station and New Haven, Connecticut due to a loss of overhead power.<\/p>\n

Amtrak said services between the two locations are canceled for the remainder of Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

If you’re heading to Boston, you can exchange your ticket free of charge or get a full refund.<\/p>\n

If you’re heading south, Metro-North is cross honoring tickets from New Haven to Penn Station.<\/p>\n

Amtrak says crews are assessing the issue and working toward a resolution.<\/p>\n

There’s no word yet on how long it will take to fix.<\/p>\n
