The state Education Department released new data on graduation rates for New York districts and individual schools on Feb. 9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"IVQ4NTU4VZCZZESWXDNMLMEIUA\">Statewide, the graduation rate during the 2024-2025 school year was 85%, down slightly from 86% the year before.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"BU25RVSFPRGNPG23JBM6EPK7BI\">The numbers reflect graduation rates for students who entered ninth grade in 2021 and graduated by August of 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"QDX6HBUU5BAQ5EUJWFRR5YLUTQ\">In Onondaga County, the Marcellus Central School District had the highest graduation rate at 98%. Fayetteville-Manlius and Skaneateles tied for second at 96%.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"KDYFXI5CJZHQBPGUIAJJC53YOM\">The Syracuse City School District had the lowest graduation rate in the county last year at 71%, down 2 percentage points from the previous year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"UXOIAFI72JGS3DGUDQUBQBVD6I\">Syracuse\u2019s graduation rate tied for 636th in New York out of 670 districts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"7DYT2RA4VNG4HOUKQHCZUVAJ6E\">You can find data for your district using the table below.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"JYV4NXY3MNABXHD7FE2OXVBI3Q\">Search by entering a full or partial district name or county name in the search box.
