Tis the season for jazz vocalist Dianne Reeves<\/a> to take the main stage at Jazz at Lincoln Center with her all-star band for the 12th consecutive year of Valentine\u2019s Day shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cLincoln Center always makes me feel like I\u2019m home,\u201d the five-time Grammy Award winner<\/a> told The Daily News. \u201cIt\u2019s like, \u2018Hey girl, welcome back.\u2019 And I mean, that\u2019s from the people in the back all the way to the audience in the front \u2026 it just always just feels like a cool way to really start the year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Known for her signature songs \u201cNever Too Far\u201d and \u201cBetter Days,\u201d alongside killer interpretations of countless jazz standards (including \u201cMy Funny Valentine<\/a>\u201d), Reeves, 69, didn\u2019t reveal the set list ahead of the weekend, but guaranteed the audience will be pleased with what she has in store.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m doing all kinds of different things \u2026there\u2019s some things that people know, but there\u2019s other things, other love songs that I\u2019m putting in,\u201d she explained, adding: \u201cIt\u2019s always an experience, and the year before there\u2019s always something that inspires the performance. And you know, given the times that we\u2019re in, I want to just make a space for everybody that just feels open and receiving and kind and loving and, you know, and safe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tony Danza<\/a> is back at the cabaret hotspot under Studio 54 with a new show paying homage to \u201cOl\u2019 Blue Eyes.<\/a>\u201d The Brooklyn native<\/a> will mix personal anecdotes with music from the Sinatra Songbook for a show he described to The Daily News as \u201chomage to the greatest entertainer of all time, as far as I\u2019m concerned.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, I\u2019m Italian, I\u2019m biased, but I just think he\u2019s the greatest,\u201d he quipped.<\/p>\n

The 74-year-old TV veteran known for \u201cTaxi<\/a>,\u201d \u201cWho\u2019s the Boss\u201d and most recently \u201cPower Book III: Raising Kanan,\u201d<\/a> continues to prove he\u2019s a renaissance man. Accompanied by his \u201cswinging four-piece,\u201d Danza plans to tap dance, play the ukulele and belt out at least 20 standards such as \u201cCome Fly With Me,\u201d \u201cI\u2019ve Got You Under My Skin\u201d and \u201cGuess I\u2019ll Hang My Tears Out to Dry.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really a fun show,\u201d he shared. \u201cYou know, somebody asked me to describe my shows and basically, what I try to do is harken back to the TV variety shows that I grew up on where they had a host, and then a whole bunch of different acts. Well, I\u2019m the host, and I\u2019m also all the acts. That\u2019s how I approach it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two-time Grammy winner Gregory Porter<\/a> is taking a break from his worldwide \u201cLove Is King\u201d<\/a> tour to return to the city that launched his career for his annual musical celebration of love.<\/p>\n

In its 12th year, the one-night-only concert has become a tradition for the baritone who got his \u201cstamp of approval\u201d at Harlem\u2019s St. Nick\u2019s Pub<\/a>. The show has played at Kings Theatre and Town Hall before its current home at Carnegie Hall.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s been extraordinary for me actually,\u201d he told the Daily News about doing the Valentine\u2019s Day event. \u201cI guess the way you become kind of somewhat of an institution in one way or another, just by continuing, by consistency.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cIf there\u2019s a message that I can get out about the Valentine\u2019s Day show it that it\u2019s the story of love, the full story of love. And if you come with a broken heart, even if you come in with nobody, come on, I have something for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Film at Lincoln Center kicks off its Diane Keaton<\/a> retrospective this weekend, featuring 15 films from the late actress\u2019<\/a> prolific career, most being shown in 35mm.<\/p>\n

The weeklong retrospective will include films like \u201cLooking for Mr. Goodbar,<\/a>\u201d \u201cAnnie Hall,\u201d \u201cSomething\u2019s Gotta Give\u201d and \u201cThe Godfather\u201d trilogy.<\/p>\n

The French fashionista, who worked for luxury brands like Cartier, Givenchy, Armani, and Carolina Herrera, takes an unfiltered, unapologetic, feminist approach to her work, which spans multiple media. \u201cFemme Fontaine,\u201d a functioning stoneware fountain with a nude figure collapsed into the basin, is among the highlights.<\/p>\n

Host Rex Halligan<\/a> plans to demonstrate his expertise at the \u201cno-rules, DIY aspect of performance art.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 9-part series, based on the whirlwind romance of the late power couple, is set against one of New York City\u2019s most storied backdrops. Ice skaters (18 years old and over) are invited to come out for complimentary ice skating and a fully transformed rinkside Chill Lounge themed as a Valentine\u2019s retreat replete with a flower shop, Swedish candy cart and caf\u00e9 offering hot chocolate and sweet treats.<\/p>\n
