NDA will then honor its seniors during Senior Night against Petrides on Friday at CSI (6 p.m.).<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"CKKE2K6P3VAMLAVVAFV2HZOT3Q\">Moore Catholic 70, Bishop Loughlin 58<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"5EXCGKJF65DDDHFPKFGNF44L2E\">STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 The Mavericks celebrated Senior Night with the CHSAA AA victory over the visiting Lions on Wednesday in Graniteville.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"JGGOCFPOY5CIJDNXFPG6XLP6CI\">Moore honored its eight seniors, including Mackenzie Felci, Allie Felci, Emma Costanzo, Alyssa Ragona, Veronica Barbato, Laila Moley, Maddie Foder and Gab Cuesta for their dedication and impact on the program. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"57JP4B2ZDZE6FKG7HYHBY6JQEU\">\u201cThis is a special group that has meant so much to our program over the last four years,\u201d said head coach Gene Henderson. \u201cThey\u2019ve helped build something we\u2019re very proud of.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"BKMWD3YWAZGITP6JCG74MPLFMA\">The Mavericks came out strong, jumping to an 18\u20139 lead after the first quarter. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"MDW2X7AAKBDRFNOFDLFP7W2JWQ\">Loughlin responded in the second, outscoring the Mavs 22\u201312 to take a one-point lead into halftime. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"KUV7X5GGCFF7PJ2IHL5G6VWXE4\">But adjustments at the break proved decisive as the Mavericks switched to a 2\u20133 zone defense to regain control of the game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"4G2DK7DRBVBVJLZQGR632N4D4M\">\u201cThe thought was to change up and show them a little zone, and it worked,\u201d said assistant coach Amanda Henderson, who coached her fourth straight game. \u201cThe effort and communication were outstanding.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"EFM3T6GGEVAO7NPYM5N5OLNVK4\">Allie Felci led the way with a standout performance, scoring 24 points and grabbing eight rebounds. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"GM6CY7MFMVBFPOK3XOPH76UUBI\">\u201cAllie was just great tonight,\u201d added Amanda Henderson. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"PMNZVL4OYBCSFNRB74JTHHGFGY\">Mackenzie Felci recorded a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Emma Costanzo contributed 13 points and seven assists. The legacy they all leave behind is what really matters.
