The actor arrived at New York City\u2019s U.S. District Court in Manhattan on Thursday with his wife, Emily Baldoni<\/a>, one day after his \u201cunsuccessful\u201d court-ordered settlement conference<\/a> with Blake Lively.<\/p>\n The \u201cGossip Girl\u201d alum<\/a>, notably, was not present at the courthouse like the day before.<\/p>\n Justin Baldoni arrived to court smiling in New York City on Thursday as his Blake Lively legal battle rages on. William Farrington for NY Post<\/p>\n As for Justin, the 42-year-old was all smiles walking in while sporting a gray coat paired with a brown shirt.<\/p>\n The \u201cJane the Virgin\u201d alum is in court regarding his case against former publicist Stephanie Jones<\/a>, whom he countersued in March 2025 after she sued him<\/a> the previous December.<\/p>\n Emily, 41, grinned at her husband\u2019s side, bundled up in a brown coat and scarf ahead of the session.<\/p>\n The couple, who wed in July 2013, walked hand-in-hand. GC Images<\/p>\n The duo (pictured above in August 2024) is expected to go to trial in May. \u00a9Sony Pictures\/Courtesy Everett Collection<\/p>\n The contentious legal battle<\/a> is expected to come to a head on May 18, 2026.<\/p>\n Justin\u2019s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, told Deadline that \u201cthere\u2019s always a chance\u201d a settlement will be reached in the meantime.<\/p>\n However, the attorney clarified he didn\u2019t \u201cknow that [they] will\u201d resume settlement talks.<\/p>\n Lively sued Justin<\/a> in January 2025 for $161 million in damages<\/a> after filing a complaint against him the previous month.<\/p>\n Baldoni\u2019s lawyer said Wednesday there\u2019s \u201calways a chance\u201d a settlement will be reached before then.
