Amtrak rail service between New York and Boston was restored early Thursday, but three Acela trains have been canceled due to lack of equipment.<\/p>\n
Amtrak suspended service around 7 p.m. Wednesday after losing overhead power, the railway said on social media.<\/p>\n
Around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Amtrak reported the power issue had been resolved and service was restored.<\/p>\n
Service Resumption: Service between New York (NYP) and Boston (BOS) has been fully restored. Residual delays are anticipated as we return to regular operations. We appreciate your patience and understanding.<\/p>\n
