QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) \u2014 A 15-year-old was slashed at a subway station in Queens on Tuesday afternoon, according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n

The incident happened around 1 p.m. at the 90th Street-Elmhurst Avenue station.<\/p>\n

The victim was on the southbound 7 platform when a group of individuals approached him, police say. The individuals allegedly demanded the victim\u2019s property before a fight broke out.<\/p>\n

During the altercation, one of the individuals took out a knife and slashed the victim in the hand, police say. The group then fled the station.<\/p>\n

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n
