A pervy Brooklyn day care teacher allegedly molested four young girls in his care over an 18-month period, prosecutors said \u2013 and now cops are looking for any other potential victims.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Devonte Brown, 30, was busted after allegedly sexually abusing the kids \u2013 two 5-year-olds and a 6- and 9-year old \u2013 while they attended The Learning Factory in Bushwick on multiple occasions between April 1, 2024 and August 22, 2025, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors said Brown allegedly touched the girls\u2019 intimate body parts with both hands over and under their clothing while inside the center \u2013 identified by News 12 <\/a>as The Learning Factory\u00a0on Evergreen Avenue<\/p>\n

\"DevonteDevonte Brown, 30, allegedly sexually abused the children, from ages 5 to 9, on multiple occasions in 2024 and 2025. NYPD<\/p>\n

He also allegedly sexually abused one of the young victims at Brooklyn Bridge Park\u2019s Pier 6 in July 2025, the DA\u2019s office said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brown intimidated at least one of the girls into silence by threatening her that a favorite teacher would be fired if she told an adult, prosecutors charged.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But the girls ultimately told their parents about the abuse in August and September 2025, and the adults reported it to law enforcement, the DA\u2019s office said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One parent, Beverley Brown, claimed to News 12 that her young daughter was abused by Brown last summer.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve seen behavior of my kid where she didn\u2019t want to come here,\u201d Barnard told the network.<\/p>\n

\u201c[My daughter] just ran to me and just held me and cried,\u201d she added. \u201cWe were supposed to go to Chuck E. Cheese after that. I told her, \u2018I\u2019m taking [you] to the hospital\u2019 and she was like, \u2018Thank you, mommy. Thank you for taking me to the hospital.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The center\u2019s former education director, Marcus Alston, told the outlet he quit his position when his concerns about Brown were not taken seriously.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI left [The Learning Factory] because I voiced my opinions and concerns about Mr. Brown, and they fell on deaf ears,\u201d Alston said.<\/p>\n

The facility\u2019s phone was out of service when The Post called Thursday.<\/p>\n

News 12 reported that notices posted on the front door indicated it was \u201ctemporarily closed\u201d due to a Health Department mandate.<\/p>\n

Brown was arraigned Wednesday on an indictment charging him with course of sexual conduct against a child, sexual abuse, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child, the DA\u2019s office said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Donald Leo ordered him held on $150,000 cash bail, $300,000 insurance bond or $500,000 partially secured bond.<\/p>\n

He is set to return to court on March 27.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, the NYPD is asking any other potential victims to come forward by calling the NYPD\u2019s Sex Crimes Hotline at 1-212-267-RAPE (7273), the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). <\/p>\n
