STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 Featured in this week\u2019s Staten Island\u2019s Best Dressed are photos from two nights of The St. George Theatre<\/a>\u2019s exclusive Murder Mystery Nights last month.<\/p>\n

Each of the shows featured a different theme: Friday, Jan. 16, was a 1980s-themed evening titled \u201cI Love the \u201980s to Death,\u201d and Saturday, Jan. 17, featured a glamorous masked soiree titled \u201cMidnight at the Masquerade.\u201d<\/p>\n

All guests enjoyed table seating on the historic theatre stage and dinner in the venue while solving a pair of interactive whodunits.<\/p>\n

The Friday evening show featured neon fashion, dramatic hairstyles, and a playful throwback soundtrack, combining a high-energy rock concert vibe with the suspense of a classic murder mystery. <\/p>\n

Guests traded clues, gathered information, and competed to uncover the culprit while enjoying dinner in the theater\u2019s unique stage-side setting.<\/p>\n

The second masquerade-themed event allowed attendees to experience a glamorous night of mystery and intrigue. <\/p>\n

Guests donned evening wear, Venetian masks, and tuxedos for a sophisticated soiree where secrets, suspicion, and sleuthing took center stage. <\/p>\n

Both events offered a one-of-a-kind way to explore the St. George Theatre, combining live theatre, immersive storytelling, and an elegant setting for a memorable night out. <\/p>\n

ABOUT THE ST. GEORGE THEATRE<\/p>\n

The St. George Theatre Restoration Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving the historic St. George Theatre and developing it as a premier cultural and performing arts center for Staten Island and New York City. <\/p>\n

The organization offers community outreach, educational programs, and public performances that bring the arts to audiences of all ages.<\/p>\n

Since reopening as a nonprofit in 2004, the St. George Theatre has welcomed an impressive range of performers. Legendary musicians like Diana Ross, Tony Bennett, Ringo Starr, Cyndi Lauper, The B-52\u2019s, Air Supply, and Melissa Etheridge.<\/p>\n

Comedians and entertainers such as Louis CK, Jerry Seinfeld, Joan Rivers, Liza Minnelli, and Jay Leno have also performed there.<\/p>\n

Built in 1929, the theater originally served as a lavish movie palace and hosted vaudeville and Big Band performances featuring legends such as Al Jolson, Kate Smith, Jerry Lewis, and the Guy Lombardo Orchestra.<\/p>\n
