STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 A group of co-workers from Long Island and Pennsylvania has won a $1 million Powerball prize from the Dec. 17, 2025, drawing, according to reports.<\/p>\n
The 29 winners split the second-prize jackpot equally, with each recipient receiving a one-time lump sum payment between $21,866 and $23,250 after required withholdings, according to Syracuse.com, a sister site of SILive.com.<\/p>\n
The winning ticket was purchased at Cigar World in Elmont, Nassau County, with the winning numbers: 25, 33, 53, 62, 66 and Powerball 17.<\/p>\n
The group sharing the prize includes 28 winners from Nassau, Suffolk and Queens counties. Another co-worker is from Pennsylvania, according to the report. <\/p>\n

The drawings are held at 10:59 p.m. Eastern, Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
