STONY POINT, NY \u2014\u00a0Bruce Blakeman, already the Republican nominee for New York governor, is set to accept the Conservative Party\u2019s nomination at the party\u2019s 2026 convention on Saturday\u00a0in Stony Point.<\/p>\n
The Nassau County Executive formally secured the Republican nomination\u00a0earlier this week at the state GOP convention. <\/p>\n
New York State candidates for the governor\u2019s race<\/a><\/p>\n News10NBC spoke with Blakeman at the Rochester\u2019s Riverside Convention Center ahead of the Conservative Party dinner. He discussed his plans to extend his economic strategies in Nassau County to other regions. His campaign has focused on affordability and public safety.<\/p>\n The primary election is set for June 23, with the general election on Nov. 3. Blakeman and his running mate Madison County Sheriff Todd Hood will face off against\u00a0Democratic candidate Gov.
