Police said Saturday, Feb. 14, that they have arrested one person following the Wednesday evening triple shooting in the Kingsbridge section of The Bronx, in which 16-year-old Christopher Redding was fatally shot, and two other surviving teens were hospitalized. Video by S\u00edle Moloney<\/p>\n As reported, FDNY\/EMS spokesperson said the department received a call at 5.11 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, for a report of a shooting at West 238th Street and Review Place (a block from Broadway).<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n They said two people were taken to local area hospitals and their condition and description were unknown.<\/p>\n The NYPD press office later said officers responded to a 911 call for multiple individuals shot at the intersection of Broadway and West 238th Street within the confines of the 50th Precinct.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cUpon arrival, officers observed a 16-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the back, a 15-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the right leg, and a 13-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the right leg.\u201d<\/p>\n POLICE ARE APPEALING to the public for help identifying these people who they say are wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of 16-year-old boy Christopher Redding and the nonfatal shooting of two other teens at Broadway and West 238th Street in the Kingsbridge section of The Bronx on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026. Video courtesy of the NYPD<\/p>\n They said EMS responded and transported all three victims to St. Barnabas Hospital where the 16-year-old victim was pronounced deceased. They said the 13-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy are in stable condition, and added that no initial arrests have been made and the investigation remained ongoing.<\/p>\n I<\/p>\n Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, on Thursday, Feb. 12, NYPD detectives released the attached photos and a video of four suspects sought in connection to the shooting.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n POLICE CORDON OFF the crime scene in the vicinity of Putnam Avenue following a multiple shooting at 238th Street and Broadway in Kingsbridge, The Bronx on Feb. 11, 2026. They said the second suspect was also described as male, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, blues jeans, and white sneakers.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n They said the third suspect was also described as male and was last seen wearing all black clothing, and the fourth suspect was described as female, and was last seen wearing a black jacket and a blue mask.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, police said on Saturday, Feb. 14, that an unnamed 17-year-old male was arrested at 2.45 p.m. in the confines of the 50th Precinct.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n They said he was charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder, manslaughter and two counts of assault, and three counts of criminal possession of a weapon (a loaded firearm).<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n He is presumed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD\u2019s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
