U2M Brand \u2013 stock.adobe.com<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSuper speeders are spending millions to <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/07\/29\/heres-how-fedex-drivers-are-beating-speed-cameras-in-nyc\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">speed through your neighborhood<\/a> in brand new luxury cars,\u201d said Ben Furnas, executive director of the group, which used city traffic data for its analysis.<\/p>\n<p>One hot\u2011shot driver has already shelled out a staggering $70,536 for speeding penalties while driving a 2022 BMW X5, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>Speed cameras placed throughout the city caught the drivers. But on-average the rich speeders still owe $1,266, according to the analysis. <\/p>\n<p>Among the 1,000 worst offenders, 52% are in luxury vehicles, with the most common types being BMW, Mercedes\u2011Benz and Audi.
