The songs \u2014 \u201cTit\u00ed Me Pregunt\u00f3,\u201d \u201cMonaco\u201d and \u201cSafaera\u201d \u2014 contain those references in the original recordings.<\/p>\n
The FCC said it would not pursue further action unless new evidence emerges.<\/p>\n
Florida Republican Congressman Randy Fine sparked the controversy with a post on social media, calling Bad Bunny\u2019s performance \u201cdisgusting\u201d and \u201cillegal\u201d while quoting lyrics that were not performed at the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n
According to the outlet, following the show, Fine wrote FCC Chairman Brendan Carr stating that \u201cThe woke garbage we witnessed on Super Bowl Sunday needs to be INVESTIGATED and put to an END.\u201d he added: \u201cThere is NO reason that over 130 million people \u2014 including CHILDREN \u2014 should have been exposed to the vulgar and disgusting content of the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show.\u201d<\/p>\n
Missouri Republican Rep. Mark Alford raised similar concerns on Fox News, acknowledging he does not speak Spanish but claiming that \u201ca lot of information\u201d had \u201ccome out\u201d about the lyrics. <\/p>\n
No Republicans expressed similar concerns regarding Kid Rock lyrics that referenced drinking, drugs, prostitution and topless women at the Turning Point USA halftime show, which was marketed as \u201cfamily friendly.\u201d<\/p>\n
