The week of the competition brought some serious snowfall, setting a deep stage for the athletes to get creative, and get creative they did. We saw some lines we’d never seen in competition before, including extra cliff drops, rails at the top of couloirs, and snowboarder Quinn Boutot providing a man-ramp for Elijah Singer.

Take it from someone who was at the event: every single run was mind-blowing and incredible to watch. Unfortunately there can only be four winners, one King, and one Queen, come the end of the athlete judged competition.

As a reminder, the first place finishers in each of the four categories (men’s ski, men’s snowboard, women’s ski, women’s snowboard) walked away with $5,000, second place with $3,000, and third place with $2,000. The King and Queen each receive an additional $5,000, so that’s $10,000 to the top two athletes. This is how each category went down.

Women’s Snowboard

In the women’s snowboard category, Ellie Weiler went huge with a back 3 to grab 1st place, actually hitting the side wall of the couloir but still managing to recover and throw it down. Madison Blackley, the 2021 Queen of Corbet’s, took 2nd place, and 4x Olympian, X Games Medalist, and Kings & Queens 2025 1st Place finisher Sarka Pancochova took 3rd.

Men’s Snowboard

Corbet’s first-timer Jack MacDougall put down a run in some pretty low visibility, still throw down some major tricks and huge airs throughout the run. 2025 first-place male snowboarder Yuki Kadono went wild for the second place, while 2025 First Place Sugar Bowl Silver Belt Open finisher Nate Bromley took 3rd.

Women’s Ski

2022 Queen of Corbet’s Piper Kunst is once again at the top, claiming both the 1st-place finish and the Queen of Corbet’s title with a run that included a massive backflip into the couloir, a high speed descent, and a huge front flip off the bottom booter. Kings and Queens first-timer Valerie Festavan locked down 2nd place while Freeride World Tour skier Wynter McBride took 3rd.

Men’s Skiing

Judging the men’s skiing category must have been incredibly difficult for the athletes, with plenty of truly jaw-dropping runs going down throughout the competition. But at the end of the day, pants-wearer and absolute shredder Tristen Lilly took 1st place and the King of Corbet’s crown with a run that included a front flip into the couloir, a backflip off a second kicker, an added monster cliff drop, and a huge air off the bottom booter. Colorado skier Kelly Hilleke grabbed the 2nd place, while X Games Medalist and YouTube icon Alex Hackel snagged 3rd.

As a note, every single athlete who dropped into the couloir in this competition did incredible, even if they had some major wipeouts.
