More than a year after wrapping production on their show\u2019s fifth and final season, stars of Stranger Things<\/a> realigned in New York City on Saturday, February 14, to celebrate the wedding of cast member Maya Hawke<\/a> (Robin Buckley) to her now-husband, Christian Lee Hutson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Photos from the Valentine\u2019s Day nuptials<\/a> \u2014 published online by People \u2014 showed Finn Wolfhard<\/a> (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo<\/a> (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin<\/a> (Lucas Sinclair), Sadie Sink<\/a> (Max Mayfield), Natalia Dyer<\/a> (Nancy Wheeler), and Joe Keery<\/a> (Steve Harrington) in attendance.<\/p>\n

Also present for the tying of the knot were Maya\u2019s parents, former spouses and costars Ethan Hawke<\/a>\u00a0and Uma Thurman<\/a>, and younger brother, Levon Hawke<\/a>, People added<\/p>\n

Maya wore a voluminous white dress and a feather-lined coat for the wedding, while Hutson donned a tuxedo.<\/p>\n

Hutson is a New York-based musician and a close collaborator of Phoebe Bridgers<\/a>, and Maya met him years ago<\/a> as she recorded her own music, the magazine reports. The multi-instrumentalist and songwriter was also vital to the production of Maya\u2019s 2024 album, Chaos Angel.<\/p>\n

\u201cChristian has been so encouraging to me as a musician, helping me to make the transition from being a poet in a band to sort of being a musician,\u201d she told Variety<\/a> in 2024. \u201cThat\u2019s how I knew that Christian would wind up as the album\u2019s co-producer.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a March 2025 appearance on The SoCal Sound<\/a>, Hutson confirmed that he and Maya were engaged as he talked about her and Bridgers working with him on his song \u201cCarousel Horses.\u201d<\/p>\n

And in a June 2024 appearance on the Zach Sang Show<\/a>, Maya revealed they\u2019d been friends for four years.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is awesome,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cI cannot recommend highly enough dating your friends. It\u2019s the best. They know you, they understand that you are a person and a human being who has dated other people, who has dated them, who has feelings and is a living, breathing human, just a piece of paper for them to project their image of perfect girlfriend onto.\u201d<\/p>\n
