EDISON, NJ \u2013 The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has announced this week’s Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Honorees. On the list this week was Manhattan Jaspers’ Men’s Lacrosse redshirt junior faceoff, Casey Klossner<\/a>, as this week’s Co-Face-Off Specialist of the Week, per release.<\/p>\n

Klossner earned the title alongside Sacred Heart’s Ryan Grove, as the Horseheads, NY native posted 11-of-14 from the faceoff X to total 78.5 percent. Additionally, Klossner scooped a season-high seven ground balls in the victory on Saturday morning against Wagner inside Gaelic Park.<\/p>\n

Earlier this season, against Bucknell and Monmouth, Klossner combined for 11 faceoff wins in 46 total attempts.<\/p>\n

Last season, for the native New Yorker, Klossner logged 11 games played, 40 total ground balls, four turnovers, and a faceoff percentage of 41.6 (67-for-161).<\/p>\n
