1.\u00a0City crews catch up as snow melts<\/a><\/p>\n

As temperatures rise into the 40s, melting snow is revealing weeks of trash pressed into sidewalks across the city.<\/p>\n

The Department of Sanitation says crews melted 400 million pounds of snow after January\u2019s storm, with 2,500 workers on 24-hour shifts for nearly two weeks. Trash pickup lagged but officials say the backlog is cleared.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Man in custody after multiple Manhattan businesses vandalized on Valentine’s Day<\/a><\/p>\n

Police say a 34-year-old man went on a Valentine\u2019s Day rampage in Midtown, breaking into multiple businesses.<\/p>\n

Surveillance video shows him smashing windows at Uncle Jack\u2019s Steakhouse, damaging a nearby deli and later spraying a fire extinguisher inside a 7-Eleven. He\u2019s charged with burglary, robbery, assault and criminal mischief.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0Bad Bunny brings Brooklyn icon to his Super Bowl halftime show<\/a><\/p>\n

Maria Antonia Cay, known as To\u00f1ita, appeared alongside Bad Bunny during the Super Bowl halftime show, handing him a shot of rum inside a replica of her Williamsburg social club.<\/p>\n

To\u00f1ita opened the Caribbean Social Club more than 50 years ago, and it remains a cultural hub for Puerto Ricans in the city.<\/p>\n

She says she won\u2019t sell, despite multimillion-dollar offers, and plans to keep serving the community.<\/p>\n
