The Beckhams put on a united front on Sunday night as they marked Cruz\u2019s 21st birthday<\/a> with a Beatles-inspired bash in Mayfair as tensions with eldest son Brooklyn<\/a> continue to simmer.<\/p>\n

Sir David and Victoria Beckham<\/a> were joined by sons Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper for the celebration at The Maine in London and was dubbed, \u2018The Grand Beatle Ball\u2019.<\/p>\n

Cruz\u2019s girlfriend Jackie Apostel and Romeo\u2019s partner, DJ Kim Turnbull, also posed for family photographs at the restaurant, which was hired exclusively for the occasion ahead of Cruz turning 21 on Friday.<\/p>\n

Victoria shared a glimpse of the evening on Instagram, writing: \u201cCelebrating Cruz early!! We love you so much!!!\u201d Sir David echoed the sentiment, posting: \u201cWe love celebrating you Cruzie. A lot of love in the room for you last night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Entertainment was provided by tribute act The Bootleg Beatles, with Cruz himself stepping up to perform a guitar solo during Something.<\/p>\n

The budding musician also played a set with his band, The Breakers, ahead of their first tour later this year.<\/p>\n

At one point, he appeared visibly moved as Harper and Apostel delivered a speech in his honour.<\/p>\n

Among the guests was fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton and son Beau, 18.<\/p>\n

Notably absent, however, were older brother Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The couple have been estranged from the family since Brooklyn issued a lengthy public statement last month distancing himself from his parents and accusing them of prioritising \u201cBrand Beckham\u201d and controlling the narrative around their private lives. He also removed a tattoo tribute to his father.<\/p>\n

In his statement, Brooklyn wrote: \u201cI do not want to reconcile with my family.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded: \u201cI wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief. My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation.
