GENEVA, Ohio – In their annual trip to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships, the Manhattan Jaspers’ men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams competed over the weekend at the SPIRE Institute. The men took home ninth place, while the women secured 12th.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tSophomore Tristan Ehrhardt<\/a> headlined the day with a 23.89 second split during the backstroke portion of the Men’s 200 Yard Medley Relay, setting a new program record. The former record of 24.03 seconds was set in 2014 by\u00a0Lance Neuendorf.\u00a0

\n\tSenior Jalia Williamson finished in 12th place in the Women’s 50 Yard Freestyle, with a time of 24.04 seconds.
\n\tThe quartet of Jonathan Carsen<\/a>, Mark Haynes<\/a>, Myles Brown<\/a>, and Ehrhardt finished in seventh in the Men’s 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, above last place Saint Peter’s.

\n\tWilliamson secured 21st place in the Women’s 100 Yard Breaststroke, with a finals time of 1:07.71.
\n\tFreshman Sean Garvey<\/a> finished in 23rd in the Men’s 100 Yard Breaststroke, with a finals time of 58.60.\u00a0

\n\tFreshman Ibrahim Mohammad<\/a> came in 27th during the Men’s 1650 Yard Freestyle, with a finals time of 17:17.50.\u00a0
\n\tSenior Elle Feneide<\/a>\u00a0grabbed 17th place in the Women’s 100 Yard Freestyle, with a finals time of 52.68 seconds.
