Francesca\u2019s, a popular women\u2019s fashion retailer that announced in January it would close all stores<\/a> and liquidate its remaining inventory, has abruptly stopped all online ordering.<\/p>\n

According to the store\u2019s official website<\/a>, as of Feb.\u202f12 the company stopped accepting orders on francescas.com, effectively shutting down its e-commerce checkout. This change comes after the brand filed for bankruptcy earlier this month.<\/p>\n

The Houston, Texas-based boutique chain, which once operated a store in the Staten Island Mall in New Springville, had been in business for more than 25 years, and currently has more than 400 locations in operation. The brand confirmed the closures to Women\u2019s Wear Daily<\/a> in January, and the fashion news outlet reported that the abrupt liquidation was due to unpaid vendors.<\/p>\n
