No, my friends at school never skate, not one single person. I\u2019m the only one. My classmates only know about Tony Hawk and kickflips. A lot of them play soccer.<\/p>\n

People are a lot hungrier and more competitive in Los Angeles because no matter where you\u2019re from in the U.S., everyone thinks, Oh, I have to move out to L.A. to skate. In New York, everybody kind of seems more chill and laid-back and not as gatekeep-y about things.<\/p>\n

I wake up, make a smoothie, make eggs, make coffee. I foam-roll. I go skate. I\u2019ll just go skate all day, then eat dinner. I\u2019ve been going to physical therapy, too. I injured my ankle and wasn\u2019t skating for two months. I\u2019ve rolled my ankles so many times.<\/p>\n
