Investigators uncovered DNA evidence that does not belong to Nancy Guthrie during a search of her Catalina Foothills home more than two weeks after she was kidnapped, sources told The Post.<\/p>\n
The discovery of new evidence was revealed Wednesday after investigators did yet another search of the residence belonging to the 84-year-old mother of \u201cToday\u201d show anchor Savannah Guthrie with a fine-tooth comb, sources said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It\u2019s not clear what the evidence is, when exactly it was discovered,\u00a0or whether it has been shared with the FBI.<\/p>\n

The revelation comes as the investigation into Nancy\u2019s disappearance has stretched into its third week with no suspects or clear leads.<\/p>\n
The Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department said in a statement on Wednesday that investigators are \u201ccurrently analyzing biological evidence\u201d found at Nancy\u2019s home and that DNA profiles are under lab analysis.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThe number of profiles and other related details remain part of the active investigation,\u201d the statement said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWe believe that we may have some DNA there that may be our suspect,\u201d Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said on \u201cToday\u201d on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n
Authorities won\u2019t be able to confirm if the sample recovered from the home belongs to the suspect until it is \u201cseparated, sorted out,\u201d Nanos added.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department confirmed when reached by The Post that DNA evidence was uncovered at the home and that it is \u201call part of the investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n
