FLUSHING & OCEAN SIDE, N.Y. – Stony Brook women’s tennis had itself a successful day of matches on Wednesday, sweeping its doubleheader against Queens College and Adelphi.<\/p>\n
The Seawolves opened the day with a hard-fought victory against the Knights in Flushing, defeating them by a highly contested 4-3 scoreline.<\/p>\n
Stony Brook secured the doubles point over Queens thanks to wins by the pairings of Elena Lobo-Corral<\/a> \/ Kristi Boro<\/a>, Mia Palladino<\/a> \/ Sanjana Devineni<\/a>, and Mila Charles<\/a> \/ Laura Ozola<\/a>.<\/p>\n In singles play, the Seawolves secured their win over Queens with singles victories from Lobo-Corral, Devineni, and Ozola.<\/p>\n DOUBLES RESULTS (QUEENS)<\/p>\n \tLobo-Corral\/Boro (SBU), def.
