The royal family has a lot to take in today, following Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor\u2019s shocking arrest<\/a>; but Queen Camilla<\/a> is getting on with her work.<\/p>\n

The queen consort<\/a> stepped out this morning, business as usual, to visit Sinfonia Smith Square Hall, a grand concert hall in London, of which she is the royal patron. Camilla has held the honorary position since 2003 and has long actively supported the institution by attending concerts and championing the development of young musicians.<\/p>\n

Today, however, she left her colorful wardrobe behind and arrived at the hall in a somber all-black look (likely nodding to the heavy energy of the day). Her look consisted of a long coat, which she belted at the waist, and matching knee-high boots in suede. Dangly black-stone earrings completed the monochrome ensemble.<\/p>\n

Camilla has not publicly spoken of brother-in-law Andrew\u2019s arrest\u2014which marks the first time in modern history that a senior British royal has been arrested\u2014but King Charles III issued a strong statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office,\u201d Charles said. \u201cWhat now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course,\u201d the monarch continued. \u201cAs this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both Charles and Camilla have long stood by the victims<\/a> as more and more details<\/a> regarding Andrew\u2019s ties to late convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein have come to light over the years.<\/p>\n
