As the search for Nancy Guthrie enters its third week, investigators are looking into a possible new clue seen in surveillance images, according to a report from NBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Chris Nanos, sheriff for Pima County, Ariz., told the outlet that based on security footage from Guthrie\u2019s home, they believe the man seen tampering with her doorbell camera was wearing a pinky ring.<\/p>\n

\u201cI look at the same photo you look at and I get, I see it,\u201d Nanos told NBC on Tuesday, before saying he would have his team analyze the footage. <\/p>\n

NBC also reports that DNA recovered from a glove found about 2 miles away from Guthrie\u2019s home did not return any hits in a federal database.<\/p>\n

Guthrie, 84, was last seen Jan. 31 after being dropped off at her Tucson home by family members following a dinner outing.<\/p>\n

The FBI released surveillance footage<\/a> from Nancy Guthrie\u2019s home which showed a man tampering with her doorbell camera on the morning she disappeared.<\/p>\n

The man was described as being between 5\u20199\u201d and 5\u201910\u201d tall and wearing a black Ozark Trail Hiker backpack.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Savannah Guthrie\u2014Nancy Guthrie\u2019s daughter and \u201cToday\u201d show anchor\u2014posted to her social media<\/a>, saying her family remained hopeful for her mother\u2019s return.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just wanted to come on and say that we still have hope and we still believe,\u201d Savannah Guthrie said in the video.<\/p>\n
