Megan Beck, executive director of the Noble Maritime Collection, said the fundraiser supports multiple community needs. <\/p>\n

Founded in 1846, Seamen\u2019s Society serves over 1,250 children and more than 500 families daily, supporting vulnerable children and families facing mental illness, substance abuse, domestic violence, and other challenges.<\/p>\n
Emma\u2019s Place, located at Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Gardens in Livingston, provides free grief counseling to more than 25 families. The center is Staten Island\u2019s only nonprofit, nondenominational bereavement counseling program for grieving children and families.<\/p>\n
