War is finally kicking into gear between these Targaryen factions<\/a>. Sure, we had a taste of some dragon battle in season two (and it was chilling<\/a>), but the long-awaited Battle of the Gullet<\/a> is haunting nearly every frame of the new teaser trailer for House of the Dragon\u2019s penultimate season. Clearly, little time has passed since season two\u2019s secret rendezvous between Alicent and Rhaenyra<\/a>, as the teaser opens with Rhaenyra telling her Team Black council about it. \u201cAlicent came to Dragonstone. She will open the gates of the Red Keep and surrender to me,\u201d she says. Okay, hot. But her son Jace doesn\u2019t seem to agree. \u201cYou cannot trust her,\u201d he retorts before we eventually see him flying off to battle.<\/p>\n

The new season comes out this June, in time for Pride Month, which is great timing for the show that gave us Rhaenicent, the best ship in the expanded Game of Thrones universe. (Knight of the Seven Kingdoms did really<\/a> try<\/a>, but sorry, these star-crossed queens are too good to beat<\/a>.) So who locked Rhaenyra in that closet room? Are she and Mysaria going to address that moment<\/a> from last season? Could we add Alicent to that mix? While we\u2019re at it, are we going to get something going between Gwayne Hightower and Ser Criston Cole<\/a> or what? Also, c\u2019mon, Daemon spends most of the trailer just calling Rhaenyra \u201cQueen.\u201d As he should.<\/p>\n
