POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.\u00a0\u2013 The Manhattan Jaspers women’s basketball team (8-18, 8-9\u00a0MAAC), led by 23 points from Elisa Sol\u00e9 Sanchez, put together their third\u00a0consecutive win, this time\u00a0against the Red Foxes\u00a0from Marist\u00a0(10-18, 7-11\u00a0MAAC) by a final score\u00a0of 66-61 in overtime\u00a0inside McCann Arena on Thursday\u00a0evening.<\/p>\n

\n\tSol\u00e9 Sanchez connected on her first three point shot of the night to give the Jaspers an 8-6 lead midway through the opening quarter.
\n\tMarist ripped off a 13-2 run down the final five and a half minutes of the frame, giving the Red Foxes a nine point advantage through 10 minutes.

\n\tThose would be the last Jasper points the entire third frame, as Marist then responded with 13 unanswered to trim the margin to three at the third quarter buzzer.
\n\tMulderig and Agar Farr\u00e9s Garcia kicked off the fourth by putting the lead back to six at the eight minute mark.
\n\tWith under five minutes to play in regulation, the two sides began trading baskets, with Manhattan going up three and then one on five straight possessions.
\n\tSol\u00e9 Sanchez scored her 20th and 21st points on a driving layup with 19 seconds remaining.
\n\tOn a stepback move, Marist’s Lexie Tarul sunk a game-tying three point shot to knot the score at 59 with three seconds on the clock.
\n\tBrianna Davis<\/a> missed a potential buzzer-beater on a running jumper to force the extra period.
\n\tJustine Henry drained both of her free throws with 1:13 to play, as the Jaspers held the lead 62-61.
\n\tAfter Davis and Farr\u00e9s Garcia each hit a chance from the stripe to increase that lead to three, Marist took the ball back at halfcourt with 20 seconds to go.
\n\tTarul aimed to do the same move that forced the first overtime in an attempt to play a second, but the shot caught nothing but air as Sol\u00e9 Sanchez iced the game with free throws with 1.9\u00a0to play.

\n\tGraduate guard Elisa Sol\u00e9 Sanchez\u00a0set a new season-high with 23 points, connecting on five from beyond the arc, an individual best amongst any Jasper in 2025-26.
\n\tGraduate forward Agar Farr\u00e9s Garcia posted a double-double, scoring 13 and pulling\u00a0down a\u00a0career-high 18 rebounds, with 10 of those coming on the offensive end. The Spaniard also tied a season-high four steals and swatted two shots.
\n\tGraduate forward Colette Mulderig<\/a> was the third Jasper to score in double figures, tallying 12 while securing four rebounds and two steals as well.
\n\tSenior guard Hana M\u00fchl filled up the box score in a variety of ways, passing for a career-high 10 assists and tying a season-high nine rebounds and four steals.
