Gordon Ramsay has said he believes the Beckhams are \u201ctoo close\u201d not to get their relationship back on track amid the very public fall-out<\/a> the family has been embroiled in over the last few weeks.<\/p>\n The Kitchen Nightmares star has been a close friend of Sir David Beckham and his family for more than 25 years, and recently shared his take on the feud headlines surrounding them<\/a>.<\/p>\n During a new interview with HuffPost UK to promote his Netflix documentary Being Gordon Ramsay, he insisted he doesn\u2019t think the rift between the former England striker and his eldest son Brooklyn Peltz Beckham will be a permanent one.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re loving parents,\u201d he said of Sir David and his wife Victoria Beckham. \u201cThose kids are gorgeous.\u201d<\/p>\n Sir David and Victoria Beckham with Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham via Associated Press<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cThat bond with your son is one of the most important bonds you\u2019ll have in your life. So, I\u2019m confident they\u2019ll get back [to where they were].<\/p>\n \u201c[Families] do fall out \u2013 I fell out with my parents and I fell out with my kids. [The Beckhams] are too close not to get this back on track. And I\u2019m confident that they will get it back on track.\u201d<\/p>\n Opening up more about the relationship between his own family and the Beckhams, Gordon then explained: \u201cAll the kids grew up together. The Ramsays and the Beckhams would spend incredible summers together, and then the kids, Jack and Brooklyn, would go surfing, Romeo would go surfing, and they just had the most amazing time.<\/p>\n \u201cThen come Christmas, we\u2019d go off to some beautiful places like the Maldives together, so yeah, the closeness was unique \u2013 and the bond.\u201d<\/p>\n Reflecting on his friendship with Sir David, Gordon noted: \u201cIt takes years to really know a proper friend. We\u2019ve been mates now for 25 years, we saw each other yesterday for coffee, and I love him.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s just so nice when you\u2019ve got such lovely friends that enjoy great food, great wine and we do crazy **** together,\u201d he added. \u201cSporadic days here, there and everywhere, where we\u2019ll just go off with Tana and Victoria, and just have the most amazing time in private. That\u2019s the hallmark of a great friend.\u201d<\/p>\n After months of rumours<\/a> suggesting he was no longer speaking to his famous parents, Brooklyn set the record straight last month<\/a>, confirming that he is estranged from his family for several reasons and has no intention of reconciling.<\/p>\n Last week, Gordon told The Sun<\/a>: \u201cIt\u2019s a very difficult situation. Victoria is upset, and I know 24\/7, seven days a week, just how much David loves Brooklyn.<\/p>\n \u201cBrooklyn and I have messaged a little bit, our relationship is solid. I love him \u2013 his heart is incredible. But it\u2019s hard, isn\u2019t it, when you\u2019re infatuated? Love is blind. It\u2019s easy to get up on that rollercoaster, and get carried away. But it will come back.\u201d<\/p>\n Since then, it\u2019s been pointed out<\/a> that Brooklyn appears to have unfollowed \u2013 but not blocked \u2013 Gordon on Instagram, with reports claiming he\u2019s also done the same to two of the chef\u2019s children<\/a>.<\/p>\n Being Gordon Ramsay is now streaming on Netflix.
