NEW YORK — All the previously frozen funding for the Gateway Tunnel has been released by the Trump administration, according to the Gateway Development Commission.<\/p>\n
The GDC said it is working to deploy the $205 million now to resume construction next week, while vowing to “pursue all avenues,” including legal action, to secure future funding.<\/p>\n
“We are working with our contractors to deploy these funds to resume work as soon as possible. Letters will be sent to contractors today, and construction activities are expected to resume next week,” the GDC said in a statement.<\/p>\n
